Call me bun

My compassionate, sustainable sushi recipes and worthless pearls of life wisdom for the 21st Century and beyond.
Here’s yet another sure sign that our kids are being brought up to eat badly. Here’s an apple that is packaged to look like and claims to taste like junk food. Kids need to be taught about Johnny Appleseed. Kids need to learn how to plant their own apple trees. The industrialization of our food systems has created a canyon between much of humanity and the natural planet that we depend on for nurturing, nourishment, equilibrium and a healthy sense of direction. Do we really realize where our choices are taking us? I am not a religious man but it is difficult to avoid thinking that the serpent is, once again, offering us a bite of the proverbial apple.
