Highly pollutive human machinery reflected on a grotesque and inhumane restaurant fish tank in Chinatown. Those of us who eat animals should demand to know how these animals that we eat are being treated. We should be eating no animals where cruelty is involved in its production. That said, is the killing of an animal inherently cruel, especially in the light of the fact that most of us don’t need to eat animals to meet our nutritional requirements? Furthermore, there’s a lot if compelling studies that link the over consumption if animals to all sorts of the most common human diseases.
