Highly pollutive human machinery reflected on a grotesque and inhumane restaurant fish tank in Chinatown. Those of us who eat animals should demand to know how these animals that we eat are being treated. We should be eating no animals where cruelty is involved in its production. That said, is the killing of an animal inherently cruel, especially in the light of the fact that most of us don’t need to eat animals to meet our nutritional requirements? Furthermore, there’s a lot if compelling studies that link the over consumption if animals to all sorts of the most common human diseases. Is our cruelty to animals, and perhaps our general disrespect for nature, coming back to haunt us in the form of an epidemic of diabetes, heart disease and cancer? (Taken with Instagram)
